Cyprus’ responds to Seyed Hassan: We do not intervene in regional conflicts.
According to Al Jazeera, the stormy speech of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Hezbollah, against the threats of the Zionist enemy and the targeting of any country that wants to help this regime in its aggression against Lebanon, provoked many reactions. Cyprus was one of these countries that was mentioned in his speech.
Based on this, Nicos Christodoulides, the president of Cyprus, hastily reacted to the words of the Secretary General of Hezbollah and announced his country’s non-interference in regional conflicts.
In this regard, Christodoulides said: The truth is that the country of Cyprus has not intervened and is not involved in the current regional military conflicts.
Referring to the role of his country in solving the problem of Palestinians and the Gaza war, he added: Cyprus is part of the process of solving the problem, not that it wants to be part of the problem itself. We now use the Cyprus-Gaza sea corridor to send sea aid to the Palestinians.
These words come after Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, in response to the absurd threats of the Zionist authorities, threatened that in case of an all-out war, the countries that help this regime will also be targeted. Cyprus now hosts Zionist soldiers for military training.
