PNN – “Elizabeth Warren”, the American Democratic Senator, pointed out that the “Donald Trump” team did not sign the transition period agreements with the “Joe Biden” administration and the “United States Federal Public Service Administration” and said: The president-elect of the United States has not followed the law of transfer of power for the presidency.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network from “Hail” website, Warren wrote on Monday (yesterday) in a post on X social platform (former Twitter): Donald Trump and his transition team have broken the law so far. I know because I wrote the law myself. Future presidents are required to avoid conflicts of interest and sign an ethics agreement (with the incumbent government).
This Democratic senator described the refusal of the US President-elect Donald Trump’s team to sign an agreement with the administration of Joe Biden, the President of this country, and the US Federal General Services Administration (GSA) as “illegal corruption”.

These comments were in fact a response to a CNN report on Saturday that asserted the commitment to non-conflict of interest, which is included in the “Presidential Transition Act”, should make it possible for the President-elect’s team to present some transition agreements to the Biden administration.
This is despite the fact that last month, Jimmy Raskin, the Democratic representative of the Congress, warned in a letter to Trump and J.D. Vance, the elected vice president, that the delay in signing these contracts could have an adverse effect on the transfer of power next year.
Ruskin wrote: You have rejected this issue and refused to commit to a smooth transition of power, going against the tradition followed by all presidential candidates since 2010. These actions are different from the established norms of the federal government and show your disregard for the successful continuation of the basic institutions of the American democratic government.
After the votes are counted and certified in the various states, the Electoral College will meet on December 17 to officially cast their ballots and send the results to Congress. The candidate who gets 270 electoral votes or more becomes the president.
These votes will be officially collected by Congress on January 6, and the new US president will be sworn in on January 20, 2025.
