Democratic senators and a problem called Israel

PNN – The Washington Post newspaper wrote in a report that the performance of the Zionist regime in the Gaza war and the massacre of the Palestinian people by the Israeli army (regime) have set many limits on the unconditional support of the US Democratic senators for this regime.

According to Pakistan News Network’s report, the Washington Post’s report states: In the first days after Hamas’ October 7 attack on Israel, many Democratic and Republican lawmakers alike called for immediate approval of the $14 billion in aid requested by President Joe Biden.

Now, there is concern that the aid will be fraught with moral and political challenges for Democrats who have raised red flags against Israel’s war tactics, which have already cost more than 13,000 Palestinians in its campaign to eliminate Hamas in Gaza.

Therefore, some Democratic senators, without giving up their support to the Zionist regime, have called for the creation of conditions for providing these supports, conditions that make Israel accountable for the crimes it commits.

In this regard, Senator Bernie Sanders said: “The United States has traditionally provided huge sums of money to Israel without any conditions, but I think an increasing number of members of Congress believe that this should change.”

He added: The American people are extremely concerned and in many cases very angry about the civilian casualties in the Gaza Strip and want to make sure that the policy of unconditional aid to Israel will be changed.

Another Democratic senator said about the claims of the Zionist regime: Israeli authorities say that they have done everything possible to prevent the killing of civilians, but this is not true.

The combined war of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) against the Zionist regime under the name of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm began on October 7th and was stopped last Friday with a temporary ceasefire agreement.

Following the end of the four-day temporary ceasefire between the Zionist regime and Hamas, Qatar, as one of the mediating countries, announced that Hamas and Tel Aviv had reached an agreement to extend the ceasefire for 48 hours; The agreement will end at 7 am this Thursday local time.
