PNN – The Democratic leader of the US House of Representatives announced a new plan to limit the president’s authority to start or expand war.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Hakeem Jeffries, the Democratic Minority Leader in the US House of Representatives, announced that some Democratic representatives who had previously opposed the plan to limit Donald Trump’s authority to launch or expand war without Congressional authorization, may now support it.
According to Jeffries, a number of Democrats have changed their position and are likely to support the plan in a new vote.
A vote is scheduled to be held again this week on a bill limiting the US president’s authority to start or expand war without congressional authorization.
