PNN – Despite the killing of more than 35,000 Palestinians in Gaza, White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan claimed that the Joe Biden administration does not consider the killing of Palestinians in Gaza by Israel to be genocide.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, American national security adviser Jake Sullivan said in a conversation with reporters at the White House that the US wants to see Hamas defeated, the Palestinians caught in the middle of the war are in “hell” and Israel’s major military operation in Rafah would be a mistake.
“We do not believe what is happening in Gaza is genocide. We have categorically rejected this suggestion,” Sullivan said.

Biden, who is running for re-election this year, has come under fire from supporters at home for his support for Israel.
Some of these critics believe that Israel has committed genocide in Gaza. According to Gaza health authorities, more than 35 thousand Palestinians have died in Gaza so far.

After 45 days of fighting on November 24, 2023, between Israel and Hamas, a four-day temporary truce, or a break for the exchange of prisoners between Hamas and Israel, was established. This pause or temporary ceasefire lasted seven days and finally ended on December 10, 2023, and the Israeli regime resumed attacks on Gaza.
