PNN – On the eve of the quarterly meeting of the Council of Governors, the three European countries of England, France and Germany, known as the Troika, have submitted a draft resolution to the secretariat of the Council, in which the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency is asked to submit a “comprehensive report” on Iran’s nuclear activities.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, in this document, parts of which were seen by this news agency, without mentioning Iran’s usual cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, Tehran was asked to take “necessary and urgent measures” to resolve the alleged safeguard issues.
This document also asks Iran to provide “information, documents and answers needed by the Agency” in this regard and to provide access to the places and materials needed by the Agency’s inspectors.
This is while the inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency have visited Iran’s nuclear facilities many times and have never found any evidence to show that the country’s peaceful nuclear energy program has deviated towards military purposes. Iran has also continued its cooperation with the Agency within the framework of the Comprehensive Safeguard Agreement and emphasizes that the remaining issues can be resolved with a professional approach and without the agency’s bias.
The Islamic Republic of Iran had warned about the consequences of issuing the resolution during the visit of Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, to Tehran and announced that If the opposite parties take the path of interaction, Iran is also willing to interact, but if they choose the path of confrontation, resolution and disruption against Iran, Tehran will also take the necessary decisions.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran noted that the understandings reached during this visit once again proved the goodwill and will of the Islamic Republic of Iran to promote interactions and cooperation with the Agency.

In this telephone conversation, both parties emphasized their will to continue the path of negotiations and interaction in order to resolve disputes and address other issues on the agenda and avoid non-constructive and confrontational approaches.
The head of the diplomatic service stated: If the other parties ignore Iran’s goodwill and interactive approach and put non-constructive actions on the agenda of the meeting of the Council of Governors through the issuance of a resolution, Iran will respond appropriately and proportionately.
Unnecessary crisis about Iran’s nuclear program/ Araghchi: If there is real will on the other side, an agreement can be reached
In the first place, Iran’s peaceful nuclear program turned into an unnecessary crisis due to the unjustified instrumentalization of the United States under the influence of the Zionist regime from the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and the complicity of the Troika.
Before signing the JCPOA agreement, the Westerners presented Iran’s nuclear program as a threat to international peace and security based on the seventh chapter of the United Nations Charter and tried to securitize this issue and link its solution with military action and sanctions.
As a result of their desperate efforts, Iran’s nuclear case was named PMD (abbreviation for possible military dimensions of Iran’s nuclear program) at the International Atomic Energy Agency, and the Westerners tried as much as possible to prove that Iran’s various scientific and industrial actions were aimed at producing nuclear weapons.
At the same time, international nuclear experts acknowledged that Iran’s nuclear case is very serious and there is no way to solve it except through hard ways and payment of heavy costs by Iran. But this case was closed and the agency officially confirmed this issue in a resolution. In this way, the documentary and the mockery, which was designed to deal with Iran in the military and security field, was taken from the hands of the Westerners.
