Details of the prisoner exchange between Tel Aviv and Hamas, according to Zionist sources.
According to Al-Mayadeen, the Hebrew-language newspaper Haaretz reported, citing Zionist sources, that the number of prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment who are to be released as part of the prisoner exchange agreement with the Hamas movement has reached 290.
The report continues: 600 Palestinian prisoners who have been sentenced to more than 15 years are to be released as part of the agreement.
The report emphasizes: As part of the agreement, 1,000 residents of the Gaza Strip who were arrested during the army’s ground offensive on the strip will be released.
It should be noted that Tel Aviv has been forced to accept a ceasefire during indirect negotiations with the Hamas movement after 15 months of aggression against Gaza and the failure to achieve its goals in the strip.
