According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Al Jazeera news channel, quoting diplomatic sources, announced that the United States is likely to veto the resolution to increase humanitarian aid to Gaza in the Security Council today.
These sources emphasized that Washington is against the clause in this resolution that emphasizes the necessity of stopping the military operations of the Zionist regime in Gaza.
According to these sources, Washington has requested the postponement of the vote on the resolution to increase aid to Gaza in the Security Council.
Previously, the United States twice vetoed the resolution calling for a cease-fire in Gaza, while all the members of the Security Council agreed with it, and only the United Kingdom abstained.
