Direct talks between Ankara and Tel Aviv to establish a military communication channel.
According to Ma’an, the Middle East Eye website reported that Israeli and Turkish officials are holding direct talks on establishing a channel for permanent military coordination in Syria.
The purpose of establishing this channel is to prevent military clashes between the two sides in Syria.
The report states that Netanyahu warned Israeli officials that Tel Aviv has little time to act against Syrian bases before Turkey takes control of these bases.
After the Israeli airstrikes against the T4 base in Syria, Tel Aviv is seeking to convey peaceful messages to Turkey. It has also been reported that Turkey is seeking to deploy its drones at the T4 base and may also temporarily deploy the S-400 missile system in the area.
Analysts had previously pointed to the possibility of a conflict between the Israeli and Turkish regimes in Syria.
