Director of Chatham House think tank: Iran’s response to Israel was a new model

PNN – The chief director of the British “Chatham House” think tank evaluated Iran’s heavy drone and missile response against the aggressive act of the Zionist regime in unprecedented regional conflicts and a new paradigm.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing CNBC, Sanam Vakil said in an interview on Monday: Israel will have a difficult time in not reacting to Iran’s missile response.

Middle East director of England’s Chatham House think tank believes that there is still a risk that this reaction could lead to further escalations. How and when Israel responds to Iran’s action will determine everything.

He continued: Israelis have been expecting such a response from Iran for the past few days, but despite this, Israel’s counterattack will intensify tensions and the danger of a direct war between the two sides has not yet disappeared. It is unlikely that Israel will be able to deal a serious blow to Iran, but the expansion of the war in the region brings high costs.

Although US President Joe Biden reiterated his country’s support for Israel, he also emphasized that Washington will not participate in any counterattack against Iran.

The member of the Chatham House think tank added: On the one hand, the residents of the White House insist on not reacting against Iran, and on the other hand, they are looking at the upcoming presidential elections, and Biden will be criticized for not being strict with Tehran.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement on Saturday night and announced that in order to punish the aggressor, using its intelligence, missile and drone strategic capabilities, it attacked and successfully hit the important military targets of the Zionist terrorist army in the occupied territories.
