PNN – A British newspaper reported on the emergence of differences between the United States and Britain since the attack on Iran.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; The British newspaper Financial Times wrote on Tuesday that the first cracks in US-UK security cooperation have emerged in working relationships between diplomats, officials and military personnel.
The newspaper reported that US officials based in Whitehall have limited access to sensitive information and US requests for bases have become “more difficult”. US requests to use British military facilities, including Fairford Air Base, have been delayed and more stringent. Previously, such requests were automatically approved.
The main reason for these differences is London’s different approach to the war against Iran. Citing legal considerations and the bitter experience of the Iraq War (2003), the British Prime Minister initially opposed the use of the country’s bases for attacks against Iran, which was met with anger and sharp criticism from Trump.
In response to this action, Trump said that the relationship between the United States and Britain is no longer the same.
