PNN – During the 2020 election, Donald Trump asked Michigan state election officials not to certify the election results, according to a leaked phone conversation.
According to the International group of Pakistan News Network, the Detroit News published a November 17, 2020, phone call in which former US President Donald Trump asks two Wayne, Michigan election officials not to certify the election result, which was Joe Biden’s victory.
In this phone conversation, Trump pressures these two people not to confirm the results of the elections in this state and tells them that they may face a terrible action and that they should fight for the country.
Trump’s campaign spokesman Steven Chung said of the phone call: “Trump’s actions are in furtherance of his duties as President of the United States to faithfully protect the law and ensure the integrity of elections, including the investigation into the stolen 2020 presidential election.”
Meanwhile, Michigan state officials have filed criminal charges against 16 people for involvement in an electoral fraud scheme during the 2020 election, but Trump’s name is not among those accused.
Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson said in a statement that her office will continue to support state and federal law enforcement efforts to investigate and hold accountable those involved in efforts to alter the 2020 election results in the state. He stated that he was not aware of this audio file until it was published.
Currently, Trump is embroiled in a case of fraud and overstating the value of his assets and properties to get better loans and more favorable insurance terms.

In addition, Trump, along with 18 former officials, lawyers, assistants, election office workers and local members of the Republican Party, are accused of committing illegal acts to change the outcome of the 2020 US presidential election in the state of Georgia.
In another case, he has been accused of keeping confidential US documents after leaving the White House. In this case, the former US president has been accused of 40 crimes, including knowingly keeping sensitive defense information and obstructing the administration of justice.
Another case against Trump is related to his attempt to overturn the election results before the January 6, 2021 riot. In this complaint, which contains four charges, Trump is accused of crimes such as conspiracy to defraud the government and conspiracy to obstruct the confirmation of President Joe Biden by Congress.
In addition, Trump in March became the first US president to face criminal charges for paying hush money to a porn star in 2016 and for tampering with business documents.
Trump has denied any wrongdoing in these cases and has not been found guilty in any of them so far.
But Donald Trump considers the accusations to be only politically motivated and with the aim of removing him from the 2024 election, despite the fact that according to the latest polls, Trump is still the leading candidate of the Republicans for the 2024 election. He claims that raising these accusations only made him lead in the polls.
If Trump is re-elected president, he could seek a pardon for any federal charges against him.
The US presidential election will be held in November 2024. Currently, Joe Biden is the leading candidate of the Democrats and Donald Trump is the leading candidate of the Republicans in the polls.
