Dissatisfaction of Muslims in America with Trump’s possible cabinet

PNN – Reuters news agency reported that those American Muslims who supported Donald Trump to protest the Biden administration’s support for the Zionist regime’s war in Gaza and its attacks on Lebanon, are extremely disappointed with his proposed ministers and officials.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Reuters wrote that while Trump has chosen Florida Republican Senator Marco Rubio for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he is a staunch supporter of Israel and said nearly a year ago that he will not demand a cease-fire in Gaza and that Israel must kill “all elements” of Hamas.

Trump has also named former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, a staunch pro-Israel conservative who has supported Israel’s occupation of the West Bank and called a two-state solution in Palestine “unworkable,” as the next ambassador to Tel Aviv.

On the other hand, the winner of the November 15 election, Elise Stefanik, has chosen the Republican representative of the parliament, who accused the United Nations of anti-Semitism because of the condemnation of the deaths in Gaza, as the American ambassador to this institution.

Several of Trump’s Muslim and Arab supporters said they had hoped that Richard Gernell, the former director of national intelligence in Trump’s first administration, would play a key role in his cabinet, even as secretary of state, after months of reaching out to the Muslim and Arab American communities.

Another key Trump ally, Massad Boulos, the Lebanese father-in-law of Trump’s daughter Tiffany, had also met with Arab American and Muslim leaders many times.

The two promised Arab American and Muslim voters that Trump would be the candidate of peace and act quickly to end wars in the Middle East and beyond.

Trump has also visited Arab and Muslim American cities several times and stopped in Dearborn, where the majority of the population is Arab. During this short meeting, he said that he loves Muslims. The Republican candidate in Pittsburgh also described his Muslim supporters as “a beautiful movement that seeks peace and stability.”
