71 ceasefire violations recorded in Gaza by the occupation forces in the first week of Ramadan

Ismail Al-Thawabta, Director General of the Government Information Office in the Gaza Strip, announced a significant increase in ceasefire violations by the Israeli regime since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.

He announced that 71 ceasefire violations were recorded in the first week of this month alone.

Al-Thawabta stated: These violations, which are a clear violation of the provisions of the ceasefire agreement, have resulted in the martyrdom of 6 Palestinian citizens and the injury of 32 people with various injuries.

He also pointed out the process of humanitarian aid arrivals and emphasized: Out of a total of 4,200 trucks that were supposed to enter Gaza from the beginning of Ramadan according to the agreement, only 1,476 trucks have entered the region, which has reduced the level of adherence to commitments to about 35 percent and exacerbated the humanitarian crisis.

Al-Thawabta continued by referring to the restrictions imposed on the movement of Palestinian citizens, adding: Only 499 passengers out of a total of 1,400 registered people have been allowed to leave, which indicates the continuation of the restrictions and the increasing suffering of patients and students.
