Doha: We are working to implement the second phase of the ceasefire agreement more quickly.
According to Al Jazeera, Qatar, which is considered a supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood in the region, had good relations with the Hamas movement and was therefore one of the most important mediators of the ceasefire talks between the Palestinians and the Zionist regime to end the conflict in Gaza.
Accordingly, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Foreign Minister and Prime Minister of Qatar, in an interview with the Zionist Channel 12, rejected the criticisms made by the Zionists against his country and considered Doha an impartial mediator between the parties to the conflict.
He noted that if the political authorities had had enough courage and the ceasefire agreement had been reached sooner, this could have saved the lives of more civilians.
The Qatari Foreign Minister emphasized: Our effort is to implement the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza more quickly. We worked hard on the path to the ceasefire agreement and finally succeeded in reaching this agreement despite all the difficulties.
This senior Qatari official considered the two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state to be the best measure for a permanent end to the current conflict.
