According to Egyptian officials, 13 UN staff are also scheduled to enter the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing.

The possible presence of UN employees in Gaza is taking place while UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres sent a rare letter to the UN Security Council Citing Article 99 of the UN Charter and demanding immediate action for a ceasefire in Gaza.

CNN wrote at the end of its report: “Rafah is the only border crossing in Gaza that is not controlled by Israel, and since the start of Israel’s war with Hamas in October, it has been a vital way for aid to enter this area and for people to flee from the war.”

Preparations for the departure of nationals of some other countries from Gaza are being made in a situation where the British Defense Minister Grant Shapps is going to go to Tel Aviv in the coming days and consult with Israel about the “next steps in the Gaza war”.

After the Al-Aqsa storm operation, the Zionist regime has launched severe attacks on Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip at the same time as the inhuman siege of this area has been intensified. Attacks that left more than 16,200 martyrs.
