PNN – An informed source has reported the abduction of dozens of Alawite women in Syria and the harvesting of their organs.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al-Maalouma, a human rights activist source in Syria stated that at least 40 Alawite women have been abducted in the country over the past three weeks.

The source added that the women were residents of the outskirts of Jableh, Homs, and Baniyas, stressing that such crimes represent a serious threat to the humanitarian and human rights situation in Syria.

The source noted that some women who were later released reported brutal assaults by the perpetrators and the theft of organs from other women.

The source said these crimes indicate that organized networks in Syria are targeting civilians.

It is worth noting that since the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad’s system in Syria, instability, massacres, killings, and looting have spread across the country.
