The Israeli regime claims to be using these dangerous bombs to target Hezbollah’s underground positions, even though experts have warned of the consequences of these attacks on civilian buildings.
The bombs used against the southern suburbs of Beirut, known in military terminology as “hammers,” cause severe earthquakes due to their impact on the ground tens of meters deep.
Residents in the areas near the targets felt the tremors. The bombs, which are more than seven meters long and weigh at least a ton and are laser-guided, are said to have been launched over the past two days against the southern suburbs of Beirut, the heaviest since the official start of the ceasefire in Lebanon.
