Egypt: Israeli troops must withdraw from all Lebanese territory

PNN – Referring to the Israeli regime’s aggression against Lebanon, the Egyptian Foreign Minister called for an end to these attacks and for the withdrawal of Israeli troops from Lebanese territory.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Sputnik, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Ati met with a number of Lebanese parliamentarians during his visit to Beirut and emphasized his country’s consistent position in supporting Beirut.

He added: Cairo emphasizes supporting Lebanon’s national institutions to protect the country’s internal stability and unity.

Abdel Ati emphasized: Egypt views Lebanon as a key pillar of the regional security and stability system. Protecting the country’s sovereignty and independence is a constant priority of Cairo’s foreign policy.

He emphasized the need to fully implement Security Council Resolution 1701 and ensure the withdrawal of Zionist troops from all Lebanese territory, as well as an end to Tel Aviv’s aggression.
