PNN – Referring to the new crime of the Zionist regime and the explosion of “pager” devices on a large scale in Lebanon, Egyptian analysts warned about the use of Western technology against its users in the Arab world.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoting from Rai Alyoum, Ismail Sabri, professor of political science and international relations in Egypt, referring to the Zionist regime’s crime in attacking Lebanese civilians by blowing up communication devices, said: In the midst of this chaotic and dangerous security market, after the Israeli regime launched a cyber-attack and breached and destroyed the Pejiri system, and this is the latest action of this regime, there is a possibility of a massive military attack on Hezbollah and the whole of Lebanon by Israel.
He added: The security situation on the Lebanese front is rapidly becoming critical and it is moving in the direction of a severe and unprecedented military confrontation. We should expect any action.
“Fawzi Al-Ashmawi”, the Egyptian diplomat, also said in this context: Israel’s cyber-attack against thousands of people affiliated with Hezbollah by exploding their pager batteries is proof of two issues.
He added: The form and type of future wars that increasingly rely on artificial intelligence and cyber progress and the possibility of targeting enemies through spying on their phones and remote detonation, as well as destroying the enemy’s weapon and detonating it. Imagine if relatively large batteries of mobile phones like iPhones were targeted instead of small batteries of pager system, what would be the volume of wounded.

Al-Ashmawi continued: The impact of scientific and technological progress will be decisive as a result of wars, as well as economy, food, transportation, services and other matters.
Yahya al-Qazzaz, professor of geology at Helwan University, also said: The explosion of remote electronic communication devices in Lebanon is a new war with advanced cell phone hacking technology. Doesn’t this awaken us to pay special attention to education and practical research to defend our country? Teaching the way and resistance is the solution.
Following the explosion of communication devices called “pagers” in various areas of Lebanon, especially Beirut, according to the latest statistics, 11 people, including a little girl, have been martyred and around 4,000 Lebanese have been injured.
Following these explosions, Lebanon’s Hezbollah held the Israeli regime responsible for the explosion of the pagers in statements and said that this regime will definitely retaliate.
What is a pager?
It is a small wireless radio receiver that is battery operated. Upon receiving the appropriate signal, the receiver sounds an audible and vibrating alert and displays a digital message such as a phone number or text message if the pager is capable of handling alphanumeric characters.
Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, warned Hezbollah forces about cell phones and said that through them, Israel has the possibility of monitoring movements and carrying out attacks.
