PNN – Egypt’s foreign minister emphasized the continuation of the country’s efforts to mediate to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza, as well as sending humanitarian aid to the strip, and said that his country is against any scenario of displacing the Palestinian nation.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Egyptian media, Badr Abdel Ati, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, announced at the meeting of the Committee of Arab and Muslim States on the situation in Gaza on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly that his country is against any scenario to displace the Palestinian nation.
In this meeting, Badalaati, referring to the current situation of the Palestinian land including Gaza, West Bank and Jerusalem and the crimes of the Zionist regime, stated that the current crisis is the result of the actions of the Israeli regime for many years to stabilize their illegal occupation and impose their own desired situation and deprive this land from its real owners and impose a new demographic situation. These conditions require a radical solution to this crisis through the formation of an independent Palestinian state in order to prevent the region from flaring up.
In this meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt also discussed the ways to integrate the efforts and messages of this committee in the upcoming meetings of the United Nations General Assembly.

We also examined the situation in the Horn of Africa region, the importance of government unity in Somalia and the fight against terrorism, as well as the importance of stability in the Middle East through the removal of weapons of mass destruction from the region.
Pointing out that the continuation of the Zionist regime’s aggression against Gaza is the main cause of the conflict in the region, Abdul Ati said: We must focus on stopping these aggressions and achieving an immediate ceasefire.
Referring to the continuation of cooperation between the United States and Qatar to achieve a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, Egypt’s foreign minister emphasized: Hamas has declared full adherence to all previous agreements.
The Zionist regime has started a devastating war against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. During this period, 70% of the houses and infrastructures of the Gaza Strip have been severely damaged, and the miserable siege and severe humanitarian crisis, along with the unprecedented famine and hunger, threaten the lives of the residents of this area.
Despite all these crimes, the Zionist regime has admitted that after 11 months of war, it has not yet been able to achieve its goals of this war, which is to destroy the Hamas movement and return the Zionist prisoners from the Gaza Strip.
