Egyptian hard-liner attacks Trump; Cairo stands against his nonsense!
According to Sadi Al-Balad, Egyptian intellectual Mustafa Al-Faqi strongly attacked US President Trump and called for a strong response to him.
He considered Donald Trump’s statements on the Palestinian issue as nonsense and called for a strong and strong response to it.
The Egyptian intellectual said: US military aid to Egypt, which is worth about $1.3 billion, is “not a huge amount” and Egypt can ignore it if necessary. Trump is making baseless statements that do not instill fear in our hearts, and we must stand strong and firm against him and US aid should go to hell.
The intellectual said: Egypt can withstand foreign pressure.
Expressing his dissatisfaction with Trump’s actions on the Palestinian issue, Al-Faqi said: I do not believe that Trump is the US president. What he wants to do against the Palestinians is far worse than ethnic cleansing. Any attempt to displace the Palestinians or deny their rights will have serious consequences for the entire region.
He warned against any attempt to undermine peace between Egypt and the Zionist regime, calling it a heavy price for the Zionist regime.
Al-Faqi said: If peace with Egypt is undermined, Israel will pay a heavy price, and this does not only mean war and military action, but Israel will largely lose some of the legitimacy of its existence in the region very quickly and automatically.
He added: Peace with Saudi Arabia is a lofty goal for Israel, especially its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who considers himself the leader of the Brahimi normalization process.
The thinker called for a halt to actions and plans to displace the Palestinians and for serious movement to be made to establish an independent Palestinian state.
