According to the Lebanese newspaper, this trip is taking place within the framework of a series of regional trips and at the same time as increased international contacts regarding the situation in Lebanon and the south of the country.

Lebanese political sources consider the transmission of international messages to Lebanon through the head of the Egyptian security service to be significant, and believe that Major General Rashad is one of the prominent security figures in Egypt who conveys the content of international and Arab messages about recent developments to Lebanon.

The Zionist regime has recently launched a massive media attack regarding the possibility of attacking Lebanon if the country’s authorities oppose the resistance’s disarmament process, perhaps using this psychological controversy to compensate for its failure in military operations in Lebanon through diplomatic and security circles.
