PNN – Hebrew-language media pointed to Egypt’s plan to control the security situation in the Gaza Strip after the ceasefire is implemented in the strip.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Russia Al Youm, Hebrew-language media reported that Egypt is training hundreds of Palestinians to take control of the security situation in the Gaza Strip after a ceasefire is achieved in the strip.

The report states that Cairo has developed a comprehensive plan to take control of Gaza. Recently, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Ati announced the country’s detailed plan to control the situation in Gaza after the ceasefire is implemented.

The media report states that Arab and international countries support the Egyptian plan in favor of the Palestinian Authority. The plan includes a six-month transitional phase with the formation of a civilian government and a five-year reconstruction phase for Gaza, as well as the deployment of international peacekeeping forces in the strip.
