PNN – The former chief of the Israeli army’s Joint Chiefs of Staff admitted that the regime had not achieved any of the nine declared goals in the war against the Gaza Strip.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoting the Zionist newspaper “Israeli Hume”, Gadi Eisenkot, former Chief of the Joint Staff of the Israeli Army, said: Israel had set nine objectives for the war (in Gaza), none of which it achieved, and this is unacceptable.
He said: It is necessary to hold elections as soon as possible to restore trust in the government, and it is not possible for those who were in the Israeli army’s high command during the October 7 (2023) attack to remain in their positions.
In this regard, the Israeli Radio and Television Organization also reported, quoting former Prime Minister Ehud Barak that the goal of the current war in Gaza is to keep Netanyahu and his coalition in power.
He added: Israel is on the brink of a precipice, but Netanyahu has declared war on Israel and its values and broken his oath of loyalty.
Barak added: We are constantly losing our children and our international standing.

The Zionist regime’s strategy for ethnic cleansing of Palestinians
On the other hand, Zionist military analyst Eyal Berkowitz wrote, referring to the killing of two other soldiers in Gaza: Two more soldiers were killed in Gaza, and we returned to “authorized publication” for the sake of political survival and the luxurious life of Sara and Yair Netanyahu (Netanyahu’s wife and son). (A reference to widespread news censorship in Israel)
He added: Shame on you, soldiers are being killed because of you, you are nonsense, you are a disgrace, stop the war, you bow down to the dictator and soldiers continue to be killed because of you.
Since the beginning of the Gaza Strip War on October 7, 2023, and the unprecedented Operation “Al-Aqsa Storm” that was carried out in a surprising manner by the Palestinian resistance forces, the Israeli army has faced a series of heavy and costly blows; blows that have left deep effects on the body of the regime’s army, both on the field level and on the psychological and strategic level.
In the first days of the war, more than 1,200 Zionists were killed and hundreds were captured; an event that, according to many observers, is considered the most unprecedented intelligence and security failure of the occupying regime since its establishment.
Afterwards, in the extensive ground operations that the Israeli army launched to free prisoners and suppress the resistance, the Palestinian resistance inflicted heavy losses on Israeli military units through irregular warfare tactics, the use of complex tunnels, precise ambushes, and planned explosions.
During more than a year and a half of war, Zionist sources have acknowledged the killing of hundreds of army soldiers, while unofficial statistics indicate higher casualties and thousands of injuries among the regime’s combat forces.
The Palestinian resistance also succeeded in destroying or capturing dozens of Merkava tanks, armored personnel carriers, drones, and advanced reconnaissance systems of the Israeli army.
Now, after more than eighteen months, many observers believe that the Palestinian resistance, despite widespread destruction and human casualties, has managed to change the equations of the battle and entangle the Israeli army in a war of attrition and cost, in which there is no clear prospect of victory for the occupiers.
