Election Results in Britain Deal Another Blow to Netanyahu’s Already Fragile Status’

  1. “Election Results in Britain Deal Another Blow to Netanyahu’s Already Fragile Status”

During the recent elections, British political analysts wanted to show that only the issues of economy, health and education had an impact on the election results, but field research showed that the events in Gaza and the British government’s approach to the crimes of the Zionist regime are among the most important factors. It has attracted the attention of citizens in recent elections.

From this point of view, it must be said that the results of the British elections were a big shock for the Zionist regime. Because the Conservative Party was defeated and Rishi Sunak had to give his place to Kerr Starmer, the leader of the Labor Party.

The Labor Party, which had been preparing for this victory for 14 years, managed to get 412 seats and only 121 seats went to the Conservative Party. The share of the Liberal Democratic Party was 71 seats, and the National Party of Scotland won 9 seats and the rest of the parties got 35 seats.

The results of the British election and the uncertainty about the status of Joe Biden and the Democrats, along with the domestic situation, have made it more difficult for Netanyahu. Because the events of the last year showed how much Sunak supported the Zionist regime.

But now that Starmer has formed a cabinet, we can say that the situation for the Zionist regime has become more complicated. Of course, the Labor Party gaining power in England does not mean a change in the political approach of the old colonialists towards the Palestine case, and everyone knows that England played a historic and decisive role in the formation of the illegitimate phenomenon of Zionism. But the problem is that the Asian voters living in England, as well as some of the intellectuals and ordinary citizens of this country, were fed up with the crimes of the Zionists in the last few months, and the demonstrations of the supporters of Palestine in London attracted the attention of the whole world.

Despite the widespread protests of British citizens against the genocide in Gaza, Sunak’s government was one of the most important supporters of Benjamin Netanyahu, since the Al-Aqsa storm operation. The provision of arms aid, the provision of intelligence services, legal support and attempts to negatively influence the global decisions of supporters of the Palestinian fighters were part of the British support package for Tel Aviv. But now a government has come to work which, in this very first step, has shown that it is not ready to support the war due to the increasing wave of support for Palestine among British citizens.

British Muslims, worried about Gaza

The detailed report of the Independent newspaper showed that the voters in the British elections did not only have an opinion on economic issues, and by the way, one of their most important concerns was the way the government views the Palestinian issue. This newspaper announced in its report that at least 20% of Asian and Muslim voters in England seriously think about the Palestinian issue and are dissatisfied and complaining about the policies of the Conservative Party government.

Zara Mohammed, secretary general of the Muslim Council of Britain, spoke of significant concerns among Britain’s Muslim communities, while Cr Starmer avoided calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza before the election. But as soon as he was satisfied with his victory, he chose a person as the minister of foreign affairs who, in his first political position, talks about the need for an immediate ceasefire and the release of prisoners.

David Lemmy, who has replaced David Cameron as the foreign minister, has promised that he will try to achieve a ceasefire with the help of US President Joe Biden. David Lemmy, a black politician and lawmaker, spoke with his American counterpart, Anthony Blinken, about the need for a ceasefire.
