Therefore, according to the report, in a survey conducted from February 1 to 20, 2024, while 20 percent of Americans considered illegal immigration to the United States to be the number one problem in the United States last month, now this rate has reached 28 percent.
In this survey, after the immigration problem, the economy with 12% and inflation with 11% are respectively the most important problems that America is facing.
Considering the arrival of more than 300,000 illegal refugees from the southern borders of the United States to this country last December, this issue has also become a controversial issue in the debates of the American Congress.
According to the results of this survey, 57% of Republicans currently consider immigration to be the number one problem in America. While this rate was only 37% in January, this rate was less among the Democrats, because 9% in the January survey and 10% in February considered it the number one problem in this country.
