Emir of Qatar: The Palestinian issue will not be sidelined.
According to Al Jazeera, “Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani” Emir of Qatar gave a speech at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The Emir of Qatar announced in this speech: Attacking the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is the height of barbarism and brutality. Convictions and reports are over and nothing is left but the crime and its elderly, women and children victims in Gaza.
He added: “Not intervening to stop Israel’s attack on Gaza is a big scandal.” The possibility of marginalization of the Palestinian issue has deceived some, but such a thing is not possible regarding the Palestinian issue. The issue of Palestine will disappear only in 2 cases; The destruction of the occupiers or the destruction of the Palestinian nation.
Emir of Qatar said: “The current barbaric war in Gaza has ended the international community’s acceptance.” We are against violence and aggression against civilians from any side. Is it wise that after this disaster big countries do not realize the necessity of stopping the war and moving towards a just and immediate solution? Israel’s actions against the Palestinians are genocide.
He added: Talk about global security, peace and stability has no meaning without practical measures leading to the cessation of war. The international community is responsible for the consequences of the events that happen to our brother nation in Palestine; A nation facing genocide. The destruction of the occupiers and the achievement of the right to self-determination by the Palestinian people is not a blessing or a pardon for anyone.
Emir of Qatar said: Ismail Haniyeh was not only the head of the Hamas movement, but also the elected prime minister of the Palestinian nation. Palestine’s achievement of full membership in the United Nations sends this message to the occupiers’ cabinet that power does not destroy rights. We chose to try to mediate to end the war in Gaza; A war in which “Israel” is not afraid of assassinating political leaders.
He added: Stop the aggression against Gaza and the war against Lebanon. Exploding wireless communication devices without specifying the identity or location of the targeted individuals was a major crime in Lebanon. “Israel” knows that war does not bring peace and must stop the war against Gaza and Lebanon. The key to security in the region is just peace.
Referring to the war in Ukraine, the Emir of Qatar said: The war between Russia and Ukraine has resulted in great human suffering. We reiterate our call for a peaceful solution.
