Encroachment of modern Turkey into Syria.
According to Al-Mujhar, the power plant in the Tal-Tamar region, located in Al-Hasakah province, was shut down after Turkey’s invasion of Syria, so this issue disrupts the normal life of the residents of the residential areas and villages around this region.
Based on this report, Saleh Idris, General Manager of Barq Al-Hasaka Company, announced that the Turkish forces targeted the main power transmission line that fed the Tel Tamar power plant in the suburbs of Tal Tamar in the Umm al-Kif region.
This move by the Turkish forces has taken place in the context of continued tensions in the region and continued aggression by the PN Kishore against the border areas of Syria.
Idris added: The engineering teams of Shahrq Barq are working day and night to build the transmission line and restore the electricity flow to the Tel Tamar power plant as soon as possible so that normal life can continue and we can provide basic services to the residents of this area.
This is not the first time that Turkey has targeted areas in Syria for its campaigns, as some time ago Syrian sources had informed about the Turkish army’s artillery campaigns in northern Syria.
These sources announced: that Turkish artillery bombarded the suburbs of al-Dubbs and Al-Khaldiyeh and the international Road 4 in the suburbs of Ain Isa in the north of Raqqa.
Also, the Turkish forces bombarded areas under the control of the US-affiliated Qasd forces in the northern suburbs of Raqqa. Syrian sources announced that as a result of these campaigns, widespread fires occurred, but there were no casualties.
Earlier, Turkish artillery targeted the road from Aleppo to al-Hasakah. These campaigns are taking place in Turkey at a time when “Amin Susan”, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of Syria, in a speech during the 20th session of Astana in the presence of the Assistant Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Russia, Syria, and Turkey in the capital of Kazakhstan, the withdrawal of Turkish forces is necessary. Syria had emphasized as the only way to maintain any ties between the two countries.
