PNN – British Deputy Foreign Minister said at the UN Security Council meeting after repeating the country’s hostile positions against the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Forces and supporting the alleged right of the Zionist regime to defend itself: Palestinians are experiencing a devastating and growing humanitarian crisis as a result of Israel’s military action.
According to Pakistan News Network, at the UN Security Council meeting on Palestine, Tariq Ahmad added that the ceasefire agreement in Gaza “has provided an important opportunity to provide hope and relief to the families of prisoners and transfer vital humanitarian aid to Gaza.” But this agreement should not be a one-time deal and we must collectively work to create more opportunities.
Referring to the recent visit of the British Foreign Minister to Palestine and the occupied territories, he said: In a meeting with the leaders of Israel and Palestine, David Cameron emphasized the importance of releasing prisoners and dealing with the humanitarian crisis, as well as the need to find a long-term political solution within the framework of a two-state solution.
According to the British diplomat, Cameron discussed the need for immediate de-escalation in the West Bank in Israel. Britain’s position on Israeli settlements is clear and long-standing. These actions are illegal according to international law and contrary to the goal of peace.

He claimed that Iran is an unacceptable threat to the region through its destabilizing activities and long-term support to its proxy groups and partners in the region, including Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
The Deputy Foreign Minister of England also condemned the seizure of the Israeli ship called “Galaxy Leader” in the Red Sea and demanded the immediate release of its crew, accusing Iran of its role in this incident. Israel should act according to international law
By repeating the alleged right of the Zionist regime to defend itself, he emphasized: In doing this, Israel must act according to international laws. Protecting the lives of civilians is a key issue. Frankly, tragically, many innocent civilians, including children, have lost their lives, and we must collectively work to find solutions to this protracted conflict.
In the end, the British Deputy Foreign Minister claimed that this country is committed to solving the Palestinian issue in line with the resolutions of the Security Council. “Peace may seem difficult, but it is achievable. “Peace is achievable and we must work together to achieve this noble goal.”
