He told Al-Maalouma: The United States intends to establish its largest consulate in Erbil in order to dominate the oil and gas fields, which it considers a very important and future energy project.

The analyst stated: It should be noted that Washington is trying to find ways to ensure the continuation of security conditions in areas near Israel and turn them into an impenetrable safe front so that the Zionist regime is not exposed to threat.

Al-Dhari added: The United States, by its nature, does not want a strong country in the region. The U.S., based on its nature, does not want any strong and dominant regional power, especially after sensing Turkey’s ambitions and efforts to seize oil and gas fields and investments in the Kurdistan Region.

He continued: The U.S. government manages the policies of the Kurdistan Regional Government according to its own interests. Establishing the largest American consulate in Erbil enables the U.S. to seize Erbil’s resources, take over investment opportunities, and push out Turkish companies.
