PNN – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a phone call with his American counterpart Joe Biden on Thursday night: “The severity of Israel’s aggression against the Gaza Strip has dire consequences.”
According to Pakistan News Network, citing “Anatolia” news agency, Erdogan stated: the escalation of Israeli attacks and the prolongation of their duration can bring negative regional and global consequences.
Turkey’s presidential communications office noted in a statement that Erdogan told Biden that the humanitarian disaster in Gaza must end.

According to this statement, Erdoğan further told Biden that reducing the unconditional support of the US to Israel can guarantee the cessation of the conflict in Gaza.
The statement added that the President of Turkey warned his American counterpart that the realization of a ceasefire in the region is a historical responsibility that rests on the shoulders of the United States.
According to this statement, among other topics discussed in this phone call were Sweden’s membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the sale of American F-16 fighter jets to Turkey and bilateral relations.
