PNN – In a statement, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called for unified actions by Islamic countries against the aggression of the Zionist regime in Gaza.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al Jazeera, Erdogan said that his country continues its efforts in order to take unified steps of the Islamic world against the aggression of the Zionist regime.
He added: We extend a helping hand to our brothers in Gaza and Lebanon, and Turkey is one of the countries that have provided the most aid to the Palestinian people, amounting to more than 86,000 tons.
Erdogan recently said in a statement: We declare that we are ready to provide any assistance to end the killing in Gaza and achieve a lasting ceasefire.

According to Reuters, Turkey, which has strongly condemned the attacks of the Zionist regime on Gaza and Lebanon, had previously announced that it had discussed with Hamas about a possible ceasefire in Gaza and provided them with recommendations on how to proceed with the negotiations.
The ceasefire between the Zionist regime and Lebanon came into effect with international mediation on Wednesday morning.
On the other hand, US President Joe Biden claimed on Tuesday that Washington will once again try to establish a ceasefire in Gaza “with Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, (the) Israeli (regime) and others”.
Meanwhile, in response to Biden’s comments, a Turkish official told Reuters that a ceasefire in Lebanon without a temporary ceasefire in Gaza is not enough to achieve regional stability.
Pointing out that Ankara is ready to help reach an agreement in Gaza, as it supported previous efforts, he emphasized: We are once again ready to help reach a permanent ceasefire and a sustainable solution in Gaza.
Turkey, along with 53 other countries and institutions, recently sent a joint letter to the United Nations Security Council and demanded to stop sending weapons and ammunition to the Zionist regime.
