Erdogan condemns Israel’s Gaza actions.

In his speech at the Presidential Complex in Ankara on the occasion of the “International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women,” the Turkish President said on Tuesday that two-thirds of the 70,000 people killed in the Zionist regime’s genocidal war in the Gaza Strip were women and children.

Expressing his disgust at Israel’s brutality against Palestinian women in the Gaza Strip, he added: “These figures are shocking for those with conscience and no human being who has benefited from humanity can remain indifferent to these tragedies, yet we are faced with a long, painful and shameful double standard.”

Erdogan emphasized: “We will shout for the truth and defend the truth in all circles, regardless of the identity of the oppressor or the oppressed.”

He added that the number of children killed by the Zionist regime in Gaza in the last two years is more than 20,000.

The Turkish President continued: “The brutality that the women of Gaza have suffered over the past two years has not received an appropriate response.” Here, too, the identity of the perpetrator and the victim has determined the level of reactions. Unfortunately, pressure commensurate with the horror of the crimes committed has not been applied to Israel.

The Zionist regime’s attacks continue despite the ceasefire announced in Gaza, while the world is witnessing the regime’s failure to adhere to the commitment and ceasefire in the shadow of the silence of the mediators of the agreement.

On October 7, 2023, the Zionist regime launched a war against the Gaza Strip with two main goals: to eliminate the Hamas movement and return the Zionist prisoners from this region, but it failed to achieve these goals and was forced to reach an agreement with the Hamas movement to exchange prisoners.

On Thursday, October 17, the Hamas movement officially announced the achievement of an agreement to end the war in the Gaza Strip and exchange prisoners.

The Israeli army also officially announced the implementation of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip on Friday afternoon, October 8, and announced: “According to the agreement, Israeli forces will remain stationed in certain areas of the Gaza Strip, and movement from the south to the north of the Gaza Strip will be permitted via Al-Rashid Street and Salahuddin Road.”
