Pak Sahafat – Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who traveled to New York to participate in the annual meeting of the United Nations General Assembly, in a meeting with a number of American think tanks, stated that anti-Islamism, racism and attacks on holy places are increasing, and asked everyone to stand against these ugly acts.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency from Turkey’s Anatolia news agency, in a meeting with a number of American think tanks, Erdogan spoke about Turkey’s contribution to solving global and regional problems, creating peace, stability and prosperity in the region and the need to solve the problem of the unfair international system.
The President of Turkey also emphasized the necessity of fundamental reform of the international system based on justice.
Erdogan also said that Turkey is trying to end the Russia-Ukraine war with a just peace.
The President of Turkey further added that there is an opportunity to revive Turkey’s relations with the European Union.
He further expressed his satisfaction with the development of relations between Ankara and Washington and emphasized that most of the remaining issues that arise between the two countries from time to time have been removed with the cooperation of US President Joe Biden and the two sides have decided to increase bilateral contacts.
Erdogan also said: International solidarity must be increased to fight all terrorist organizations, especially the PKK, Gülen and ISIS without distinction.
In the end, he emphasized the need to strengthen international solidarity in issues such as the dignified return of Syrian refugees to their country.
