PNN – The spokesperson of the ruling party of Turkey announced that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will travel to Iran on Thursday to participate in the funeral ceremony of martyred president Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi.
According to Pakistan News Network’s report from “Turkish Minot”, Omer Celik, the spokesman of Erdogan’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), announced in a news conference on Wednesday after a meeting at the party’s headquarters in Ankara that Erdogan will travel to Iran to attend the funeral of the martyred president.
The body of the martyred president will arrive in Birjand on Thursday, and then he will be buried in the holy city of Mashhad.
Ayatollah Raisi, the 8th President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on his way back from the opening ceremony of the Qiz Qala Si Dam to Tabriz city, suffered a helicopter crash in Warzghan region of East Azerbaijan province on Sunday evening, and he and his companions were martyred.

The funeral ceremony of the Martyr of the President Ayatollah Seyed Ibrahim Raisi and the accompanying martyrs was held on Wednesday from Revolution Square and after offering prayers by the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, to Azadi Square with the presence of millions of people.

The ceremony of paying tribute to the president and his martyred companions by the leaders and senior officials of the countries and regional and international organizations was held on Wednesday and hosted by the Acting Presidential Informer Mohammad Mokhbar in Tehran Summit Hall.
