Erdogan: Israel is a terrorist state and is becoming more arrogant every day.
According to Al-Mayadeen, the Turkish President stressed that it will be very difficult to achieve lasting peace in the Gaza Strip while Israel continues its crimes and undermines ceasefire efforts.
At the official opening ceremony of the fourth session of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, Recep Tayyip Erdogan described Israel as a “terrorist state” and said that no other title can be used for it.
He emphasized: “For a year and a half, Israel has been committing genocide against the Palestinian people by ignoring all human rights standards and international laws. Silence in Israel’s massacre is tantamount to complicity in these crimes. Israel is becoming more arrogant every day, and this is the result of the world’s indifference to its actions.”
Erdogan emphasized: “No one has the right to call Palestinians terrorists. Without the establishment of a free and sovereign state for the Palestinians, peace in the Middle East will not be achieved.”
The Turkish President also referred to Israel’s aggression against Syria and Lebanon, saying that the regime had become a source of crisis in the region.
He noted that the world is bigger than the five permanent members of the Security Council because humanity goes beyond these countries.
