Erdogan: Netanyahu has earned the title of the butcher of Gaza in history.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said at the party’s parliamentary meeting that the people of Gaza were victims of the most treacherous attacks since October 7: Mosques were bombed, schools were razed to the ground, refugee camps were deliberately and knowingly targeted, and children were massacred. Gaza’s food, water, and electricity have been shut off and this area has become an open prison where the massacre of two million people is carried out. They did any injustice.
He added: that 16 thousand people were martyred in Gaza, more than 70% of them are women and children. About 35 thousand of our brothers were wounded. Two-thirds of the buildings in Gaza were destroyed. Educational and health facilities were destroyed. Netanyahu recorded his name in history as the butcher of Gaza.
The President of Turkey stated that this stain of shame is also attached to the foreheads of those who support Netanyahu, and stated: We do not forget the silence of the Western countries, except for one or two countries. We will try all ways to make them responsive. We are with the people of Gaza with all our facilities. The most important topic of our calls is the war in Gaza. We talked with the Prime Minister of Spain and we congratulate Spain for this stand.
Erdoğan stated that he would go to the UAE tomorrow and said: We will check what we can do for Gaza. We consider the exchange of prisoners and the temporary cessation of war to be a positive development. Israel must prevent further killing of Netanyahu, who is trapped in a corner. By fueling anti-Semitism, he endangers the safety of all Jews in the world. It also increases enmity with Islam in the world.
Referring to Turkey’s humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza, he said: The second Turkish aid ship carrying 1500 tons of humanitarian aid is leaving today. We bring cancer patients and children to Türkiye for treatment. We continue our efforts to maintain the ceasefire.
