Erdogan: No one can impose a second Nakba on the Palestinian people; Israel must pay 100 billion in compensation.
According to Anadolu Agency, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed on Monday during his remarks at the Turkey-Malaysia Strategic Cooperation Summit in the New Century in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia: “No one can and will not impose a second Nakba on the Palestinian people.”
The Turkish President continued: “First, the Israeli regime must be compensated for the destruction it has caused, and with that, the reconstruction process in Gaza must begin. The houses, lands and workplaces usurped by Tel Aviv and the rebellious settlers must be returned to their rightful owners, the Palestinians.”
Erdogan said: “The cost of the destruction of the Gaza Strip is estimated at $100 billion. The reason for this heavy cost is Israel and Netanyahu.”
He continued: “Instead of looking for land for the people of Gaza, whom he has not been able to expel from their homeland, Netanyahu should look for resources to compensate for the $100 billion in damage he has caused in Gaza.”
The Turkish President also stated that where there is no justice or where it is set aside for selfish interests, peace, tranquility, and development will not be provided to humanity, stressing: “We need a new understanding and world order to solve problems in all areas, from economy to diplomacy, trade, and security. An organization in which the Islamic world, with a population of more than two billion people, is not represented is not fair and cannot provide justice.”
