I congratulate and salute South Africa for its courageous stand in bringing the genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan added: It is important for us that the G20 plays a leading role for the international community in the face of the world’s current and future challenges. World peace cannot be fully achieved without the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
We will do everything we can to achieve peace between Russia and Ukraine. We have also declared our readiness in this regard, and God willing, we will succeed in this path.
The Turkish official added: The war in Gaza is clearly genocide. It is impossible for us to ignore the tragedy of genocide in Gaza and Palestine; the perpetrators of this genocide are Netanyahu and Israel.
He noted: Last week I met with Zelensky in Ankara, and tomorrow you will speak with Putin on the phone. Our efforts to establish the grain corridor were actually aimed at paving the way for peace.
Erdogan stated that he intends to discuss the “grain corridor” as well as the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict during this call with Putin.
