Erdoğan: Providing weapons to Israel is participating in war crimes.
According to Al Jazeera, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that Western countries are complicit in aggression against the people of Palestine and Lebanon by sending weapons to the Zionist regime.
Erdogan stated in his speech today: “Western countries provide weapons to Israel, which this regime uses to commit mass murders in Gaza and Lebanon. “Anyone who gives weapons to Israel is complicit in these aggressions.”
He added: “Turkey has not spared any effort to reduce the intensity of these conflicts, but Israel has ignored all mediation efforts and continued its aggression.”
Erdogan also stated: “Israel has intensified its attacks against our brothers in Palestine and Lebanon, and by expanding the scope of the conflict, it has aggravated the situation.”
In recent months, the Zionist regime’s attacks on Gaza and Lebanon have intensified, and these actions have been met with strong international reactions.
Türkiye, as one of the countries in the region, has repeatedly criticized the aggressions of this regime and demanded an end to these attacks and support for the people of Palestine and Lebanon.
Erdoğan had previously criticized the sending of Western weapons to the Zionist regime and considered it to be the cause of the escalation of violence in the region.
