PNN – In response to the terrorist attack in front of the Çağlayan court, the Turkish president said that Ankara continues to fight against all terrorist groups.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in response to the armed attack in front of the “Çağlayan” court, stated that Ankara continues to fight against all terrorist groups.
According to the Anatolian news agency, Erdogan stated: “Turkey will continue to fight against all terrorist groups and their supporters with determination and without discrimination.”
Turkey’s Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced in a statement posted on “X” channel (former Twitter) that at 11:46 a.m. local time today, two attackers attacked the Istanbul Palace of Justice (Cagalayan Court).
He attributed the attack to the People’s Revolutionary Liberation Front and said that five people, including three policemen, were injured and one person died.
The People’s Revolutionary Liberation Front is a 46-year-old leftist group that was accused of trying to kill Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who was the prime minister of Turkey, 16 years ago.
The Minister of Interior of Turkey says that “a terrorist attack has been carried out towards the checkpoint in front of the Çağlayan Court”.
After that, the Turkish media published a picture of a man and a woman and reported that these two people were the perpetrators of the armed attack in front of the court and were killed in the clashes.
In this regard, Erdogan said that “two terrorists were killed by the security forces before reaching their treacherous goals”.
Local media reports also indicate that a third attacker was also arrested and wounded in this attack.
