European lawmaker: Israel could not commit genocide in Gaza without American support.
A critical legislator of the European Parliament on Sunday called Europe and the United States Tel Aviv’s accomplices in the genocide of people in Gaza.

Politicians and international figures continue to condemn the Israeli regime for continuing attacks on the Palestinian people in Gaza and consider America and Europe to support Tel Aviv.

According to news sources, Mick Wallace, an Irish member of the European Parliament, wrote on Sunday in a post on X social network: “Israel could not have carried out this genocide in Gaza without the support of America and Europe. The American and European political spectrum supports the colonial project of the Zionist settlers. This is a shame and they should be held accountable.”

America has been the main supporter of this regime since the beginning of Israel’s military attacks in Gaza and has helped fuel the war by sending weapons and political support.

In the weeks leading up to the war, Joe Biden’s administration, in the face of continued calls for help in establishing a cease-fire in Gaza, said the White House only supported “ceasefires” in Gaza and was not in favor of a cease-fire that could benefit Hamas.

The official death toll in Gaza by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Hamas-controlled area exceeded 17,700 people on Sunday. Thousands of people are missing and are believed to have been killed under the rubble.

The ministry announced that about 40 percent of the deaths were related to children. Aid groups have sounded the alarm about the situation of civilians in Gaza and have warned that the region is on the brink of disease and starvation.

The head of the World Health Organization also said that Israel’s attacks on Gaza’s healthcare sector have been “catastrophic” and that the conditions are now ideal for the spread of deadly diseases.

Most of the 2.3 million people living in Gaza have been forced to leave their homes several times. UN agencies say there is virtually no safe place to go.
