European lawmaker: We are complicit with Israel in the massacre of thousands of Palestinian children.
The Belgian representative of the European Parliament, in his statement in this body on Tuesday, considered the European Union to be an accomplice of Israel in the massacre of more than 7700 Palestinian children in Gaza due to its support for the crimes of the Zionist regime and sending weapons to this regime.
Israel’s attacks against Palestinians in Gaza have left more than 19,000 martyrs, 70% of whom are women and children. Since the beginning of these attacks, the leaders of the European Union, aligned with the United States, have supported the actions of the Zionist regime and opposed the ceasefire under the pretext of what they call “Israel’s right to defend itself”. The support that he gave many times made the Irish member of the European Parliament, Mick Wallace, say that Israel could not have committed genocide in Gaza without the support of the United States.
In his words, Butenga warned his colleagues that those who are defending the Israeli regime today have failed to listen “because the Israelis themselves have said that this is a war against the entire population of Gaza and they want to evict two million residents of Gaza”. He called the European Union complicit in all these crimes for sending weapons to Israel that are used to kill civilians.
