PNN – The foreign ministers of France, Germany, and Britain, expressing concern about the escalation of the Israeli regime’s attacks on the Gaza Strip, described the resumption of bombing as a “catastrophic setback” for the Palestinians and the entire region, and called for an immediate return to the ceasefire.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, senior diplomats from the three European countries emphasized in a joint statement, a copy of which was published on the British government’s website: We are deeply shocked by the civilian casualties and call for an immediate return to the ceasefire. The statement, referring to the need to resume ceasefire negotiations, states: We call on all parties to re-engage in negotiations so that the ceasefire can be fully implemented and become a permanent situation.
The European Troika foreign ministers have made it clear that there is no military solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and that a return to war will only lead to the deaths of civilians. The diplomats stressed the need for the Zionist regime to comply with international law and regulations, and stated: Israel must fully respect international law and immediately allow the flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza. Civilians must be protected and must not be denied access to essential aid or emergency services.

The Zionist regime launched a devastating war against the Gaza Strip, which has left more than 60,000 martyrs and tens of thousands injured. This war not only caused widespread destruction of the region’s infrastructure, including hospitals, schools, and water and electricity supply networks, but also led to the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, severe food shortages, and an unprecedented humanitarian crisis. Images released from Gaza show the complete destruction of residential neighborhoods, long lines of people waiting to receive the meager humanitarian aid, and hospitals unable to provide medical services due to a lack of medicine and fuel.
After weeks of intensive mediation negotiations with the participation of Qatar, Egypt, and the United States, an agreement for a ceasefire between the Israeli regime and Palestinian resistance groups was implemented. The agreement included a cessation of hostilities and an exchange of prisoners, but the Israeli regime, in violation of its commitments, has resumed widespread attacks against the oppressed Palestinian people in Gaza. The clashes have intensified in recent days, and the number of Palestinian martyrs is rapidly increasing.
