PNN – Thousands of Palestinian supporters demonstrated in different cities of several European countries and emphasized the end of the Zionist regime’s genocide against the people of Gaza.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Anatolia news agency, this demonstration was held on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the occupation of Palestine, known as “Nakbat” day, and the protesters demanded a ceasefire in Gaza.
Thousands of Palestinian supporters gathered in Vienna’s Culture Square in Austria and chanted: “No to genocide,” “Israel is a terrorist,” and “Free Gaza.”
The protesters were told that slogans such as “Intifada” or “Free Palestine from sea to river” should not be used.
Meanwhile, Al Jazeera reported that the city of Düsseldorf in western Germany also witnessed pro-Palestinian demonstrations. They chanted: “Free Palestine” and “Death to the occupation.”
Thousands of supporters of Palestine in Berlin, the capital of Germany, joined the European protests and chanted in solidarity with the Palestinian people. Al Jazeera reported that the German police arrested a number of protesters.
Protests were also held in Paris, the capital of France, on the anniversary of Nakbat Day, and protesters held placards that read: “Stop the Genocide”, “Stop the Nakbat” and “Free Palestine.”

Also, various protests in support of Palestine were held in different Italian cities. Protesters in Milan held Palestinian flags and chanted against the war in Gaza.
According to the Italian news agency Ansa, a demonstration called “Turin supporting Gaza” was held in the city of Turin in northern Italy, and some protesters burned the flags of the European Union and NATO.
Supporters of Palestine in Dublin, the capital of Ireland, also organized a large demonstration called “Ireland’s solidarity campaign with Palestine”, in which a large number of members of various unions, representatives of political parties and other activists were present.
Protesters held Irish and Palestinian flags and demanded a ceasefire in Gaza.
On the other hand, in Geneva, Switzerland, more than 10,000 people protested and marched for hours in the city center and demanded an end to the “genocide in Gaza”.
The protestors also emphasized the need to stop the military and economic cooperation with the Zionist regime and demanded to stop the cooperation of Swiss universities with Israeli institutions.
Thousands of people from different sections of the British people also demonstrated on the streets of central London on Saturday on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the occupation of Palestine and demanded an immediate stop to the crimes of the Zionist regime in the occupied territories.
During the past seven months, the Zionist regime has launched a massive massacre in Gaza and, while closing all the crossings and preventing the arrival of relief aid, has turned this area into a ruin.
Last month, the United Nations Security Council approved a resolution in support of an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip for the immediate transfer of humanitarian aid; But the Zionist regime, with the full support of Washington, has ignored this resolution and continues to kill the Palestinian people.
The Ministry of Health of Gaza announced on Saturday that the number of Palestinian martyrs in the Gaza Strip has reached 35 thousand 386 and the number of injured has reached 79 thousand 366 since the beginning of the Israeli regime’s attack against the residents of this area.
