Expansion of Netsarim axis; Tel Aviv’s strategy of permanently occupying Gaza.
According to Al Jazeera, Brigadier General Elias Hanna, a military expert, stated that the expansion of the occupation of Netsarim is in line with the goal of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, to permanently occupy the Gaza Strip, but at the same time, it provides a bank of targets for the resistance groups.
In an analysis of the military situation in the Gaza Strip, he added that the Israeli army has expanded its occupation of the Netsarim axis and is creating fixed positions for the permanent presence there, while the resistance continues to prove its ability to shoot at the border areas of Gaza and Tel Aviv.
Hana stated that after eleven months, the resistance is still able to prove its existence and will, produce leaders, and also achieve victory through the erosion of the enemy and not surrendering to it.
He also clarified that the rejection of the occupying forces in the Philadelphia axis by the resistance shows that they can continue the fight.
He pointed out that Netanyahu’s strategy for permanent occupation provided a bank of important targets for the resistance.
Hana pointed out that the expansion of the Netsarim axis up to another 4 kilometers was done to prevent the resistance from using anti-armor missiles because the range of these missiles is less than 3 kilometers.
