Faleh Al-Fayyadh: We are entering a new stage in the history of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF).
According to Al-Mayadeen, Faleh Al-Fayyadh, head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces, emphasized that the law related to this organization will be implemented soon, noting that the Council of Ministers has approved this law and is now awaiting approval in parliament.
Speaking at a ceremony to honor the officers of the military academy, Al-Fayyadh pointed out that this law is a new step in the path of restructuring the structure of the Popular Mobilization Forces, adding that this law places the Popular Mobilization Forces on the right path and in its rightful place in the Iraqi military establishment.
He added: The law proposed in the Iraqi parliament includes the establishment of an academy for the Popular Mobilization Forces, which includes military, technical, command, staff and humanities colleges. We are now entering a new stage in the history of the Popular Mobilization Forces, which will consolidate its structure as an official military institution.
Regarding the achievements of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Al-Fayyadh stated that the forces of this organization, along with other military branches and the “Peshmerga”, have taken important steps in defending the homeland, and said: “They were on the front lines of the war in which we defeated ISIS.”
Describing the Popular Mobilization Forces, he pointed out that “one of the characteristics and characteristics of the Popular Mobilization Forces is that its leaders are martyrs,” and said: The Popular Mobilization Forces are the sword of truth, in contrast to arrogance that destroys and kills, as the Zionist regime does in Palestine, Lebanon and Syria.
Faleh Al-Fayyadh added: “Martyr Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis was the engineer of the Popular Mobilization Forces and sacrificed his life in the defense of Iraq. Martyr Qassem Soleimani was also a supporter and helper of Iraq who breathed his soul into the Popular Mobilization Forces.”
He emphasized: “The enemies have tried to place the Popular Mobilization Forces among the forces opposing the Iraqi Armed Forces, and this is incorrect. The Popular Mobilization Forces are an official force that follows the orders of the commander of the Iraqi Armed Forces.
