According to the “Jinin News” website, the occupying army radio announced in this regard: The families of the four soldiers killed in the Palestinian resistance ambush in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip emphasized that their funerals and burials should be held without the presence of representatives of Netanyahu’s cabinet or political figures of this regime.
Netanyahu’s cabinet has been severely criticized in recent months by public opinion, families of Israeli prisoners of war, and survivors of war victims, and this action by the families of the four killed soldiers reflects their anger at the sacrifice of their children for Netanyahu’s political goals.
The Israeli army officially announced on Friday evening that four Israeli soldiers were killed and five others were injured following the explosion of a bomb in a building in the Bani Suhaila neighborhood located east of the city of Khan Yunis.
According to the army spokesman, the names of the dead were: Reserve Officer Chin Gross, 33, of the Magellan Unit of the Special Forces Commando Brigade, and Sergeant Yoav Reifer, 19, of the Warburg Unit and of the Yahlum Unit of the Combat Engineering Division.
According to reports, the names of the other two soldiers who lost their lives have not yet been officially released, but their families have been informed.
According to the Israeli Army Radio, the soldiers had entered a building in the Bani Suhaila neighborhood based on intelligence data, but after entering the building, which had been booby-trapped with explosives, it exploded and collapsed on them.
Israeli army media announced on Saturday that 866 soldiers of the regime have been killed since the beginning of the attack on the Gaza Strip.
