PNN – The Committee of Families of Israeli Prisoners in Gaza criticized the Israeli regime’s war policies and stated that the regime is focusing on sending more troops to Gaza instead of reaching an agreement to release the prisoners and end the war.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al Jazeera, the Committee of Families of Israeli Prisoners in Gaza announced in a statement today that the decision of the Israeli government to expand military operations in the region instead of trying to free the prisoners has caused deep concern to their families.
The committee emphasized: We woke up with horror when the Israeli Minister of War announced that they would expand the military operation in Gaza. The families of the Zionist prisoners also held the Zionist government responsible for the release of the prisoners and expressed concern that this issue had become a marginal issue.

The statement further asks Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yisrael Katz to explain how continuing military operations can help free the prisoners.
The statement came after Katz announced this morning (Wednesday) that the Israeli army would expand military operations in the Gaza Strip, claiming that the operation was aimed at “domineering large areas” in Gaza. Katz also claimed that the Israeli army would advance to clear these areas of resistance forces and their infrastructure. He spoke of a plan to widely conquer territories that would be added to the regime’s security zones and announced the implementation of a “massive evacuation” of Gaza residents from the conflict areas.
The Zionist regime, with the support of the United States, launched a devastating war against the residents of the Gaza Strip from October 7, 2023, to January 19, 2025, which left widespread destruction and many human casualties, but did not achieve its stated goals of destroying the Islamic resistance movement “Hamas” and freeing Zionist prisoners.
On January 19, 2025, based on an agreement between Hamas and the Israeli regime, a ceasefire was established in the Gaza Strip, but the regime’s army, violating the terms of the ceasefire, resumed its military aggression against the Gaza Strip.
